The Supply Room is a free supply-sharing tool built for the staff of Pillager Public Schools (ISD 116, Minnesota). It is operated by Kevin Kleinschmidt (fouralba.com) as a free service for the school community. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Who can use the app
Access is limited to adults: school staff signing in with a school Google account (@isd116.org) and a small admin-managed list of approved exceptions. The app is not directed at children, and no part of it is available without signing in.
Information we collect
- Google account basics — when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We use these to identify you inside the app (for example, as the byline on items you list).
- Profile details you add — such as your room number or display name, if you choose to provide them.
- Content you post — item listings, photos, descriptions, wanted posts, and claims. This content is visible to other signed-in users of the app.
- Notification tokens — if you turn on notifications, we store a push token so the app can alert you about activity on your items. You can turn notifications off at any time in your profile.
What we do not collect
- No payment information — money never moves through the app.
- No advertising identifiers, and the app contains no ads.
- No location tracking.
- No sale of personal information to anyone, ever.
How information is used and shared
Information is used only to run the supply-sharing service: showing listings to colleagues, sending notifications you asked for, and letting school admins manage access. Content you post is visible to other authenticated users at your school. We do not share personal information with third parties, except the service providers that host the app: Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, hosting, and push notifications) and Resend (email notifications). These providers process data on our behalf and store it in the United States.
Data retention and deletion
You can remove your own listings in the app at any time. To delete your account and associated personal data, email kevin@fouralba.com and we will remove it promptly.
Security
All traffic to the app is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and data access is protected by Firebase security rules that limit reads and writes to authenticated, approved users.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
